Own property in Costa Rica PDF Print E-mail

plage_palmier.jpgThere are no limitations for foreigners to own property in costa rica.

We recommend strongly to take into consideration some points before buying and invest in Costa Rica.

Make sure you are buying titeld property without public annotations, encumbrances, easements, liens, restrictions.

Possibility to verify the title of the properties through a secured national registry website. Contact us to know how.

Make sure before buying you consider a survey of the property title for the past 10 years. Some encumbrances and annotations may not appear by checking out the property title. Insurance title companies look at the past ten years and because of the 10-year prescription give you a clear totle insurance. Ask your lawyer to do it and avoid paying high extra fees.

If you require a security agent taking care of your investment we recommend to sign service contracts and avoid the usual labour contrcats that are always interpreted by the courts in the advantage of the employee.

Our team is composed with a Lawyer and a public Notary and we are more than willingly able to assist you profesionally wise to help you buying and invest safely in real estate in Costa Rica.
