To live and reside in Costa Rica, some conditions need to be fulfilled:

To obtain residency there are different applications possible:

invest 50.000$ in the touristic sector
100.000$ in reforestation projects
200.000$ in all kind of activities
The rentist residence : perceive a stable income, interest or gains of at least 1000$ per year during 5 years
The pensions/retirement residence : perceive a pension of at least 600$ monthly.

 Obtaining the residence gives you the right to reside in Costa Rica but also taking advantage of the wealth care system and social security.

 Costa Rica has modern medical equipment and advanced hospitals. The quality is comarable to European standards.

 Officially you are supposed to reside 4 months a year once obtained the residency.

Costa Rica has Bilingual schools, colleges and univesities and English is spoken as a second language by most Costarican people.
